SYDNEY, \u00a0NSW, March 2, 2021 – A new partnership between Energy Ease and \u00a0OpenSolar will make it easier for solar installers to close commercial \u00a0opportunities. From today, commercial payment \u00a0plan provider Energy Ease will have its products integrated into \u00a0OpenSolar\u2019s software platform. It marks first time installers can \u00a0include a commercial financing option within their proposals. It enables installers to move \u00a0from proposal to payment plan approval within the one platform. In a few \u00a0simple clicks, the payment plan is integrated as part of one proposal. \u00a0The customer can also click through to sign the payment plan agreements \u2013 \u00a0all without having to navigate multiple platforms. Energy Ease provides payment \u00a0plans that can be structured either as a loan or rental agreement and \u00a0can approve up to $150k without the customer needing to provide \u00a0financials \u2013 all in under 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

The integration with OpenSolar will also support installers in converting more business by offering \u2018no \u00a0upfront payment\u2019 solutions for energy efficient equipment. \u201cMany businesses and \u00a0organisations don\u2019t realise that getting solar equipment on a payment \u00a0plan can be a cash flow positive proposition immediately,\u201d said Guy \u00a0Olian, CEO of Energy Ease. \u201cOnce a solar system is \u00a0installed, the grid-sourced electricity bill drops significantly. Even \u00a0when you add the monthly solar equipment payments, the overall cost is \u00a0often less than the business\u2019s current grid-sourced energy bill.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow installers can easily show \u00a0this in their proposals because OpenSolar\u2019s platform brings this \u00a0information all together in one place. It saves time because they don\u2019t \u00a0need to patch together a commercial financing option from an external \u00a0portal, as has been the case until now. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to announce our \u00a0first financing integration for commercial systems in Australia and New \u00a0Zealand,\u201d said Maaike Gobel, Head of Partnerships at OpenSolar. \u201cSelling commercial solar on \u00a0OpenSolar will get even easier since the latest rates will automatically \u00a0be pulled into proposals, showing the end-customer multiple term \u00a0options to choose from. The customer will be able to apply for a payment \u00a0plan straight from their MyEnergy proposal. No need for them to go find \u00a0another email or even switch tabs – it\u2019s a seamless sales experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
