London, UK, 9 March 2026 — OpenSolar, the world’s leading solar operating system, is proud to announce the appointment of Liz Cammack to its Advisory Board, bringing extensive industry expertise and leadership at a pivotal moment for the global solar sector.

Cammack is widely recognised across the solar and storage industry for her work strengthening the solar ecosystem and supporting installer success.

Liz previously served as Managing Director and Global Board Advisor at Segen, the UK’s leading solar distributor. She also sits on the board of Solar Energy UK, contributes to the UK Government’s Solar Taskforce, and was awarded the Women in Solar honour at Solar & Storage Live 2024.

Her appointment comes as the solar industry enters a significant period of growth, with increasing demand for clean energy solutions worldwide. As installers and distributors scale to meet this demand, platforms that improve efficiency, streamline operations, and support business growth are becoming increasingly critical.

OpenSolar’s platform is designed to provide installers and distributors with the tools they need to design, sell, and manage solar projects more effectively, helping accelerate the adoption of solar and storage globally.

Liz’s career has focused on improving the solar ecosystem, strengthening supply chains, and helping installers build sustainable businesses. Her experience will help guide OpenSolar as the company continues to expand its platform and support the industry worldwide.

“I’ve spent most of my career focused on how we accelerate the adoption of solar and batteries, not just through great products and policy backdrop, but by improving the entire ecosystem for installers and the supply chain,” said Liz Cammack.“ The OpenSolar team is on the same mission.

“OpenSolar sits right in the middle of that transformation. It’s a powerful platform that genuinely helps installers and distributors run better businesses while making solar more accessible. If the solar industry wants to scale at the levels required over the coming months, it is important that every company is as efficient as possible. OpenSolar will play a huge role and I’m excited to be joining such a great, dynamic team.”

Andrew ‘Birchy’ Birch, CEO and Co-founder of OpenSolar, added:

“Liz brings a wealth of experience in solar and distribution and is a leading light on UK solar policy. Above all, Liz is driven by delivering quality customer service in our sector, so it’s great to have her helping us shape the future of energy with service at the heart of all we do.”

OpenSolar welcomes Cammack to the advisory board as the company continues building the platform powering the global adoption of solar electrification.
