Solar Meets AI: OpenSolar announces the launch date of OS 3.0 with smarter design, lead gen, and workflow tools
San Francisco, July 29, 2025 – OpenSolar, the world’s leading solar software platform, today announced the forthcoming launch of OpenSolar 3.0, a major upgrade that brings AI-powered design and lead generation capabilities, and an expanded end-to-end workflow, available to solar professionals at zero cost.
The launch builds on OpenSolar’s drive to eliminate friction in the solar sales and installation process. Since its founding in 2019, the platform has helped solar companies cut soft costs, accelerate installs, and scale efficiently.
