Shop+ is OpenSolar’s most complete buying experience.

When you see Shop+, you know that supplier has gone further to make ordering through OpenSolar simple and transparent. You can see their pricing and stock availability, know your delivery cost upfront, and pay by card or use your existing supplier credit account where available.

Shop+ gives you the information you need before you order, so you can buy with confidence without the usual back-and-forth.

What is Supplier Assist?

Supplier Assist connects you directly with your chosen supplier through OpenSolar.

Share your project and BOM with your supplier’s account manager, who can review your requirements and support you with product selection, pricing, availability and your order.

It’s particularly useful when you want the support of your account manager or your order needs a more tailored conversation, while keeping your project and BOM within OpenSolar.

Can I order without starting from a project?

Yes. You can buy equipment for a project or go directly to Shop for standalone and bulk purchases. You can also combine purchasing across multiple projects.

Can I buy from more than one supplier?

Yes. You can source equipment from participating suppliers based on the products, pricing and stock available for your order. Shop also supports multi-supplier checkout in one easy flow.

How can I pay for a Shop order?

Payment options depend on the supplier. Where supported, you can pay by card at checkout or use available trade credit.

Does Shop create my BOM?

No. Auto BOM is part of Design. Shop uses the hardware needed for the project as the starting point for sourcing and ordering. You can also buy equipment directly through Shop without starting from a project.
