With this expansion, OpenSolar is redefining how installers operate, bringing together the UK’s leading solar software and largest product range into a single platform, enabling a faster, simpler path from design to installation. At OpenSolar’s 3.0 launch event, a new tool was previewed that allows supplier account managers to collaborate with their installer customers in one online bill of materials, so that product types and quantities can be modified, and pricing confirmed, all in one place, with an audit trail.  Supplier Assist, as it will be known, eliminates the chaotic back and forth between account managers and installers and they exchange screenshots, texts and voicemails, and will be rolling out in the next few weeks.
